the good 'ole self!

It must have been ages since I last stepped into Bliss. Come to think of it, the last time was with Kay, if I'm not wrong. But, last Sat, it was with 2 of my best friends.

It has been a long time since we last chatted like we did. Come to think of it, the last time must be a year ago or something. But, last Sat, it was just sheer enjoyment to chat like we did.

Perhaps it needed to take this long for you to sort out your emotional roller coaster, your limited time, unlimited priorities. And of cos, to sort out the 'in-laws', and keep it within the laws (haha.. pun intended).

But, I'm really glad you had. You were right. Every time we (or at least, I) asked about you, we were really more concerned about you than the baby. I know you and hubby will do a fantastic job in taking care of him, especially after what you went through. But, really, 'how are you?' The answer to that had been ambiguous, but there hadn't been much time nor opportunity to elaborate on that, especially since our ipad friend went MIA in the midst of 'arranging something'.

Nevertheless, last Sat, I was really glad to hear the good old bitch in the good-old-you bitching again! Just like how it should be!

I came home with the comforting knowledge and assurance that friends like you and I, will always connect, no matter how long has passed with how much not caught up. Because there's something in our friendship that is there to stay. For a long time to come.
